It’s been the most exciting week of my career so far with the announcement of my first book, The Forever Wardrobe. Now available to pre-order here.

I’m so so proud of this book, it was a labour of love and has taken an age to get it to this point. But I can finally tell you all about it.

In The Forever Wardrobe, I give you the tools and knowledge to create a wardrobe full of pieces you'll love and wear time and time again. With easy-to-follow steps, tools and questionnaires, this book will help you build a wardrobe and dress in a way that not only reflects your personality and style (it's not just solely neutrals!) and fills you with confidence but it will also help you understand how to consciously buy items (be it new or vintage as well as renting), take care of clothes and avoid fast fashion trends once and for all.

I’m so excited for you to read it and I really hope you pre-order. It’s under £12 on Amazon and pre-orders really help as it’s a good indicator of how the book is going to do and will help it to go higher up the chart.

On another note, I’ve been thinking about my Substack and I think I might switch up the Sunday List a bit from next week because I feel like I might be pushing too many products on to you and I don’t want you to feel any pressure to buy.

In this ever changing world of fashion and how we navigate it, the emphasis should always be about buying fewer items but better. Items that last and have longevity in your wardrobe. That being so, The Sunday List can sometimes seem like I’m willing you to buy something you might not necessarily need, and that isn’t sitting well with me.

There’s always going to be items that I have seen and love and maybe even bought, but 20 products seems too many each week. So instead, I will continue to post about the items that are on my wishlist and anything i’ve seen that may be of interest, but that might just be a few items. The rest of the post will then be how I might style those items or styling ideas that I’ve had or even opening up a discussion about a trend etc.

How does that sound to you? Would you prefer that? I don’t want to keep doing the same thing just for the sake of it. I want to evolve and change to make my Substack as useful to you as possible, so please let me know in the poll below.

How cool is this cropped denim jacket which is so chic with a hint of toughness. Wear with a denim skirt or jeans for an all denim look or with wide leg trousers and trainers for a relaxed vibe. £37.99

#3

Splurge or Save.

This Loewe drawstring bag is super dreamy but at £2250 is a bit of a splurge for a simple black bag. But I’ve found a great High Street alternative for only £79. Plus it’s real leather!

M&S, £79

Loewe, £2250

In love with this skirt from Mangos new Selected range. Giving me all the Tove and Khaite vibes but for under a hundred quid! £89.99

#5

This is such a gorgeous bag from Arket. Really minimal in style that would work from day through to evening. Love the gentle curve of the top of the bag and it has a zip opening so keeps belonging safe. £119

#6

These real leather loafers look so high end and they’re under 50 quid. The square toe is so chic. I’d wear with slightly loose straight jeans and a trench for the ultimate sophisticated look. £49.50

#7

It’s nearly trench weather and if you’re looking for a really good shape at a really good price, then this one might just be the one. £54.99

#8

Nothing like a 3-piece suit and these two are not only super cool, but are also great value. Great for work or play, wear with flats for a relaxed vibe.

Grey suit: Blazer, £69. Trousers, £45. Waistcoat, £35

Blue Suit: Blazer, £69. Trousers £39.50. Waistcoat. £35

I’ve just ordered these leather trousers from Sezane. I’ve been trying to find a pair that suit my shape and these look really good. I love the soft flare and crop style. Fingers crossed. £300

Burgundy is a big colour trend this season and it’s a much more sophisticated and grown up colour to it’s sister, red. This new canvas and leather bag by Loewe is the dream. £2100
