As it’s November, I couldn’t resist getting a bit festive in this weeks newsletter and start looking ahead to Christmassy outfits. Whether it’s for drinks with your work mates or family fun, it’s worth thinking of what you’re going to be wearing now and start planning those looks. I’ve tried to think of items that will stand the test of time and will work throughout the year too as well as being able to style up lots of different ways so that you can get the most out of these pieces.

First up is this delicious black velvet blazer which is the perfect shape for this season. The strong shoulder makes it really modern and fresh. You could wear it on it’s own with just a bra underneath, or team with a little vest/camisole. Up to you. I like it styled with simple jeans and a touch of sparkle. Perfect.
