The Sunday List: A Thoughtful Edit of Wardrobe Staples
Current Obsessions: 10 Fashion Items I’m Loving This Week
Happy Sunday friends,
I always try to embrace a more thoughtful approach to my wardrobe, focusing on pieces that feel intentional, timeless, and versatile. I’m drawn to items that not only elevate my everyday style but also have a sense of ease and purpose, never feeling too fussy or overwhelming. I love finding pieces that are simple, yet make a statement in their own way, whether through a refined silhouette, an unexpected detail, or a combination of both. These 10 fashion finds embody that balance, each one adding something unique to my wardrobe that feels like it belongs for the long term. Whether it’s a classic shape with a modern twist, or a subtle detail that makes all the difference.

If you’re after minimal style with a meaningful impact, Ninety Percent is the brand to know. With a charitable ethos at its core, they share 90% of their profits between the people who create their collections and five carefully chosen charitable causes. Their focus on responsible practices and sustainable materials, all wrapped in a gorgeous, simple aesthetic, makes them a brand worth knowing.

A great pair of sandals is an absolute summer essential, and Amanu have some truly beautiful options. Their designs are minimal, but with thoughtful details that make them feel really special. I’ve got my eye on this pair with gold-tone hardware around the ankle. So simple, yet so chic. The perfect finishing touch to any warm-weather look.

I’m a big fan of Deiji Studios - they do elevated basics so well, always with a little twist that makes them feel special. Take this ribbed Tencel tee, for example: simple at the front, but turn around and there’s a beautiful split back detail with ties. It’s the perfect laid-back piece with just the right amount of interest. I’m also loving this grey cotton-cashmere knit. It’s perfectly clean and minimal, but with an asymmetric neckline and button detail that give it that refined edge. Effortless and elevated, just how I like it.

You all know how much I love Massimo Dutti and these ballet flats have definitely caught my eye. The delicate lace-up detail adds a modern twist to a classic shape, making them perfect for a chic summer daytime look. Effortlessly stylish and so versatile… I’m seriously tempted.

Another brand I keep coming back to is Aligne. Affordable yet seriously chic, their summer collection is absolutely spot-on this season. I’m especially obsessed with this chocolate brown linen skirt paired with the matching utility-style top. It’s the kind of outfit that feels effortlessly put-together - wearable, flattering, and just the right amount of cool. So easy, so elegant.

I can’t stop at just one Aligne set, they are absolutely smashing it when it comes to co-ords, and this white broderie shirt and shorts set might just be my favourite yet. It's light, breezy, and has that effortless elegance that makes summer dressing feel so easy. Just imagine: you're in some far-flung escape, skin sun-kissed, an iced drink in hand, the sound of waves gently lapping at the shore... Pure bliss. It’s the kind of set you’ll reach for again and again. Whether you're holiday-bound or just chasing the sunshine at home. Dreamy, right?

For over 25 years, TOAST has been quietly championing a slower, more thoughtful way of living, creating clothing and homeware that’s made to last, both in quality and in style. This garment-dyed linen dress is a perfect example: beautifully soft, effortlessly easy to wear, and ideal for those long, laid-back summer days.

If you’re into a pared-back aesthetic but fancy injecting a little colour into your summer wardrobe, these pink loose-fit linen trousers are a brilliant option. I love how they’re styled here with a simple brown vest and minimal sandals. It’s effortlessly chic: understated, but with just the right pop of colour.

I do love a piece that pulls double duty, it always feels like you’re getting that bit more for your money, doesn’t it? This clever little number from Arket is an absolute gem. It’s a two-in-one design with a sleek leather bucket bag that fits snugly inside a canvas outer. You can wear them together or use each one on its own. So versatile and so chic. Genius, really!

And finally, I have to mention Ben-Amun jewellery. The brand was founded by Egyptian-born designer Isaac Manevitz, who named it after his eldest son, Ben, and the legendary Egyptian pharaoh Tutankhamun. His background in sculpture really shines through in his pieces that feel both contemporary and timeless. I find myself constantly drawn to his collections… and right now, I’ve got my eye on these 4 stunning pieces.

OK, hear me out. These aren’t your typical forever wardrobe piece, but I love them. For a summer holiday, the bloomer pant is just chef’s kiss. These black ones are a total dupe for the SS25 Chloe version, but at a fraction of the price. I’d style them with a simple t-shirt and sandals to keep it cool and casual, rather than going full-on prairie. Perfect for relaxed summer holidays.

Chloe bloomers SS25, £2,180
And there you have it - my current fashion favourites! Whether you're adding a few new staples to your wardrobe or just looking for some style inspiration, I hope these pieces spark your next outfit ideas. If you’ve got any must-haves of your own, I’d love to hear about them in the comments!
Until next time, lovely people
