The Sunday List
Summer wardrobe planning, a little shopping therapy and a Tekla sarong I couldn’t resist
Hello friends, and welcome to this week’s Sunday list - a lovingly curated mix of things I’ve spotted, saved, swooned over, and in a few cases, splurged on. From clever little fashion fixes to dreamy summer dresses and just the right amount of texture, this one’s a goodie. Whether you’re plotting your holiday wardrobe or just fancy a stylish scroll with your morning coffee, there’s plenty here to dive into. Let’s get into it.
1.)
First up is this curious little thing called the Body Extension. If you’ve ever struggled with bodysuits riding up or digging in (hello, long-torso club), then you’ll know just how uncomfortable they can be. This clever invention adds a few extra inches underneath, making bodysuits actually wearable. It's a game changer if you love the look but usually loathe the feel.
Body extension, £13
2.)
This lace up vest is such a fun little number. Leave it slightly undone at the top for a hint of flirtiness, or lace it tight if you're feeling a bit more modest. The colour is gorgeous too one of those tones that just works, whatever your skin tone.
Greige lace up top, £32.99
3.)
This dress is a total showstopper. The mix of directional stripes and that asymmetric strap give it a really interesting and feminine look. It’s giving ‘effortless summer elegance’ without even trying. The kind of thing you'd pack first for a gorgeous Italian getaway.
Sessùn stripe dress, £229
4.)
Now these trousers are definitely on the spenny side, but they’ve been living in my head rent free so I couldn’t not include them. The black pair sold out in a flash, but they’ve just released them in this stunning bronze shade. Not available in the UK sadly, so you’ll need to brace for customs and duties. I know. Painful.
Balloon trousers , £627
5.)
You lot know by now that I can’t resist a statement necklace, and this one is particularly special. It has a beautiful leather mirror pendant, which feels part jewellery, part vintage compact. Ideal for quick lipstick checks at dinner.
Mirror necklace, £150
6.)
Massimo Dutti continues to knock it out of the park. This full look is a masterclass in textural contrast with that buttery suede dress layered over silky satin trousers. Dreamy. I’ve also added these red suede sandals into the mix. They’re such a strong summer shoe and would tie in beautifully with the red suede dress for a tonal look.
Red suede dress, £349. Satin trousers, £149
Massimo Dutti suede shoes, £99.95
7.)
Cordera is one of those brands that always gets it right, and these trousers are their best selling style, now in a brand new fabrication that’s as chic as it is wearable. Effortless, relaxed, and very modern.
Cordera trousers, £265
8.)
There’s something about a linen dress on holiday that just feels right, and this beauty from Soleil Soleil ticks every box. The silhouette is breezy but flattering, and the pattern is bold without being loud. Picture it with a cold drink in hand, toes in the sand, and not a care in the world.
Linen dress, £249
9.)
I am obsessed with Julietta, a brilliant jewellery brand that feels playful and bold but still very wearable. These oversized black resin beads with the heart pendant are just crying out to be worn with a strapless dress or slinky cami. Pure drama, in the best way.
Black resin necklace, £240
10.)
This dress is as pretty as they come, yet still modern and simple and under £40. The floaty butterfly sleeves make it a joy to wear, especially on warmer days, and if you fancy a bit more shape you could easily belt it for a different silhouette. One of those easy pieces you’ll reach for again and again.
Butterfly sleeve dress, £37.99
11.)
I just treated myself to this Tekla sarong for the upcoming holiday. It doubles as something to lounge on and there are three patterns to choose from. This particular colourway had sold out on Tekla’s site, so I ordered it via Stoy in Denmark. It came to around £85 with shipping, so roughly the same price overall. Definitely worth hunting down.
Tekla sarong, £63 (plus £22 delivery)
12.)
I spotted this little number on my lovely friend Charlotte Kewley in a different colour and immediately added it to my wishlist. The perfect throw-on for holiday days, the fringing and towelling fabric give it such a relaxed, beachy feel. I’m also eyeing up these towelling shorts. Just add a tee and some flip flops and you’re good to go.
La Veste towelling dress, £159
La Veste fringed shorts, £91
And there you have it, this week’s twelve picks wrapped up nicely. I’m off to Ibiza on Tuesday for a whirlwind 24 hours, so no mid-week post next week, but I’ll be back next Sunday with another list.
See you then!
