In this weeks Sunday List, I’ve concentrated on easy to wear, simple pieces that you can style lots of different ways. A grey sweatshirt, a pair of white cotton trousers and a retro t-shirt. You most probably have something similar in your wardrobe to all these items. It might be a different print on the tee, but a similar vibe. Or the same style of trousers in a different colour.
It’s important to dig deep in your wardrobe to find pieces that you may have forgotten about. I have just started filing all of my clothes onto the Indyx App. It takes time to do as you have to photograph everything and add it all onto the app. But it’s worth it as it allows you to see everything you own, what you may have repeat bought and helps you sort through what to sell or donate as well as any gaps you may have that might need filling.
Anna Newton has been doing it for over a year and she has spoken about it both on Instagram and on her Substack, so if you’re interested to know more, head over there.
I will be documenting my findings and journey with Indyx and I’ll let you know how I get on.
Just to remind you that I have also started a new monthly giveaway and all paid subscribers will get automatically entered into the draw to win one of 5 items this month. These include: Korres sculpt and lift serum, Sol de Janeiro Bom Dia Bright Body cream, Elemis pro-collagen cleansing balm and cleansing cloth, Sezane pouch and L’Occitane Immortelle reset night serum.
5 lucky winners will be selected at random to win. So if you want to be in it to win it, Subscribe now!
Each month there will be a new prize. One month it might be beauty products like a gorgeous lipstick or eye palette, or it could be a voucher for your favourite store.
Item #1
Adanola sweatshirt, £65
So first up this week is this amazing Adanola sweatshirt. Very simple, but a great addition to your wardrobe if you don’t have anything similar. It’s slouchy and the perfect grey and can be worn over so many things. I love the idea of styling over something a bit more dressy like this semi-sheer skirt below. I’ve added a pair of cycling shorts for modesty, but the skirt would work over bikini bottoms or just a pair of knickers if you’re feeling brave!
Semi sheer skirt, £49.99. Black cycling shorts, £9.99. Red mesh shoes, £140. Monica Vinader necklace, £108
This linen utility skirt is perfect to wear with the sweatshirt. Add socks and sandals for a cool preppy vibe.
Linen utility skirt, £27. Stripe socks, £7. Grensons sandals, £195. Daphine earrings, £110
Jeans and a sweatshirt are the perfect pairing. I’ve added kitten heel mules here to make the outfit a bit more feminine. Then the leopard bag gives a modern feel.
Straight jeans, £24.99. The Frankie Shop belt, £70. Aeyde black mules, £320. A.P.C leopard bag, £620
