Well here we are. The first Sunday list of 2024. Let’s do this!

This year I am going to try to incorporate more independents and under the radar brands as well as the usual high street heroes. Focusing as always on building a forever wardrobe and investing in items that you know you will wear time and time again but also staying true to your style. This of course will be different for everyone, so I’ll try to incorporate as many styles as possible showing you items I love and that I feel will be a good investment.

If you’re new to my Substack. The first 10 items are for free subscribers, then the following 10 are for paid subscribers only, so if you want full access you can upgrade to paid below.

#1

I fell into a rabbit hole on the Rosie Antwerp site recently. There’s so many cute things. Especially love this pink lamb long sleeve tee (£60 on sale) and navy beanie, (£44).

#2

This H&M top is giving me all the Toteme vibes for a fraction of the cost. The higher neck gives it a real contemporary feel. So good. Love it styled as it is here with simple black trousers and leather flats. £18.99.

Similarly this scarf also from H&M also gives me Toteme vibes and is 100% silk and a great price at £27.99.

#3

I’ve been on the search for a really good fair isle knit and I think i’ve found the perfect two. First up is this blue & white Vince one which is such a great style and weight although a bit pricey at £521. Then secondly this Toast one is gorgeous. Still a bit of an investment, but it’s 100% wool and spun in Donegal, Ireland. So in my opinion well worth the £195 price tag.

#4

Such cute little patent leather pumps from Mango. Wear with anything from cropped flared trousers, mini skirts, jeans and dresses. I’d add a little sock for the colder months. £59.99.

#5

A long pleated skirt is a great addition to your wardrobe, and if I didn’t have a Tibi one that I purchased last year, this would be straight in my basket. Lovely box pleats and a great length. £97.

#6

I’ve just bought this scrunchie. I love the simplicity of it with the added interest with the leather. A bargain at £11 too.

#7

It’s the season to be cosy and this luxurious tracksuit from Cos is high on my Wishlist. It’s double faced for softness and warmth and made from an ECOVERO™ viscose blend. Hoodie, £95. Joggers, £95

#8

A brown cord is so useful and goes with so much. I love the look of these M&S ones which have a high waist and a slight flared wide leg. Wear with a cosy knit or slightly oversized shirt. £39.50

#9

I really really really want a pair of High Sport stretch flared trousers. But at nearly £700 a pair, I just can’t justify it. So I’ve been on the hunt for a more affordable pair and these two options are quite good. First up these Boden ones came up. I’ve ordered them and will let you know how they fit. £32 (in sale)

Secondly these Spanx ones look good. A bit pricier, but I’ve ordered them to try as Spanx do have really good hold. I’ll report back. £120

And if you’re feeling flush, then the High Sport ones are just divine. £695

#10

The new Sezane collab with Pangea is live and there are some lovely pieces. But it was the accessories that caught my eye the most. This bracelet is stunning. £105
