I still can’t believe it’s December. I’ve finally got round to buying a few presents, but I still have so much to do. As the kids have got older, the presents get smaller and more expensive - but that’s the way of life isn’t it.

It’s a busy season for me as not only is it Christmas but I also turn 50 in a few weeks time. I’ve been thinking about it a lot and I don’t think i’m as worried about it as I was when I turned forty. Forty I really struggled with for some reason. I suppose the end of my younger years, moving into midlife and the kids getting older all took a bit of it’s toll.

But turning 50 feels different. I’m proud of where I am and where i’m going. It’s a slog on Social media at times, especially as an ‘older’ woman. But like I always say, representation is so important and we need to see women of all ages, sizes, ethnicities so that we all feel just a little bit normal! Know what I mean?

Anyway as usual, I digress. This week’s Sunday list includes lots of items on my Wishlist and a few things i’m getting for other people (including my kids).

Hope you see something that inspires you.

First up is this amazing teddy fleece pullover by Nanushka found on The Outnet. So good and 50% off. The cosiest fleece for the winter season.

Nanushka Fleece, £268

#2

In love with this cute little tweed jacket from Mango. Perfect with a tee, favourite pair of jeans and pumps.

Tweed jacket, £89.99

#3

Another warm cosy piece to wrap yourself in this Winter is this gorgeous cashmere blend wrap cardigan from Arket. Comes with matching trousers too. The dream combo.

Wrap cardigan, £159. Wide leg trousers, £149

#4

Remember the ‘unexpected pieces’ I always bang on about and how adding something a bit different can spice up your wardrobe… Well this shirt is a case in point. Simple and classic at the front. Party at the back!

Black shirt, £115

#5

I have this skirt from Aligne and it is so good. I normally struggle with skirts due to having wider hips and bum to my waist, but this one fits like a dream.

Tailored skirt, £139

#6

Looking to upgrade your mittens? Then these Selfhood ones are amazing. They have a slit in the palm so you can easily access your phone etc. Genius!

Teddy mittens, £59

#7

Absolutely love this hooded scarf from Weekday. Coming in 3 different colours, I’ve bought one each for my teenage girls for Xmas, who absolutely refuse to wear hats!

Hooded scarf, £34

#8

This beautiful scarf top reminds me of the Phoebe Philo one that launched last month and that sold out in minutes. But at a 20th of the price! Wear with slouchy black trousers and loafers or ballet pumps for a relaxed chic vibe.

Scarf neck top, £67

#9

A friend of mine got this bag from Marks & Spencers the other day and it’s a great dupe for the Celine Classic box bag. A great size and also comes in various other colours too.

M&S bag, £35

#10

This necklace looks way more expensive than it is. It has that lovely vintage feel with the flat links. Wear on it’s own with a little round neck tee or layer up with a few different length necklaces.

Necklace, £17.99
