Happy Sunday everyone.
What a week we’ve had. It’s been hideously hot. Like scorchio. I haven’t enjoyed it one little bit. I was in London for 3 days and city heat is like no other. My sweat was sweating!!!!
I’m now sitting in my office with the aircon on with water, tea and snacks feeling much more myself. Hope you’ve managed to stay cool.
So this week, I’ve found some more gems for you. From fingerless gloves to stripy shoes and fine silk knits to oversized coats. There’s hopefully something to inspire you.
I find September a good time to really ‘see’ your wardrobe. It’s not about ‘in with the new, out with the old’. But when you pack away your summer wardrobe and look at what you have that will take you through autumn and into winter, you can really get a sense of where you want your wardrobe to go.
It’s a good time to look at images that you’ve saved on Pinterest or Instagram and have a look at some outfit options. Think about your basics and update any if needed. Perhaps a really lovely simple knit or some fresh new t-shirts. Then. start building from there.
What footwear do you want for the season ahead. Is there a style of coat you like that you want to find etc. Can you find lots of different outfit options from just a few key pieces of clothing?
A new season is always an exciting time and Autumn is definitely one of my favourites.
Have a look at my picks for this week. Hope you like them.

I went to the Albaray press day this week and this knit immediately caught my eye. It’s so so simple but the beautiful silk blend fine knit had The Row vibes. I’ll be pairing tucked into jeans or black trousers with a gorgeous slim understated belt and loafers. Superb and also comes in black.

Knit, £65

How utterly adorable is this big sailors collar from les Vacances D’Irina. Throw over a white tee or a big smock dress. Either way, you’ll be the cutest girl in town!

Sailors collar, £228

Patiently waiting for this cardi to come back in stock in my size. It’s utter perfection. The neckline is so lovely. I would style it with jeans or wide leg trousers. Also comes in black and white.
Cardigan, £295

Love the shape of this coat. From the length to the drop shoulders. So easy to wear and super cool. Made with recycled wool and there’s full transparency. And there’s even a tailoring service if the fit isn’t absolutely perfect.
Coat, £229

I love a scarf and I love a stripe, so this is the dream! A gorgeous Alpaca and mohair mix, this is gonna give serious cosyness when the weather turns.
Scarf, £240

If green stripes don’t take your fancy then what about this beauty? I have it in khaki and now I want the brown or the red. It’s the easiest throw on scarf to wear and gives your outfit a real edge. Especially if your coat is quite minimal and plain.

Brown scarf, £120. Red scarf, £120

This asymmetric shirt looks so much more expensive than it is. I always say to add an unexpected piece to your outfit and this is the perfect way to do it. Wear with jeans and ballet flats
Asymetric shirt, £67

I do love a good knit and this one by Jacquemus is ultra cool. Made out of soft alpaca wool, this fit is relaxed and slouchy and super cool. With the bold logo on the back, you can really make an entrance (or exit) with this one.

Jumper, £575

With Nothing Underneath really do do the best shirts and this new colour way is so perfect for Autumn. I love it just loosely tucked into jeans with some layered jewellery.
Shirt, £95

I posted about this blazer on my Instagram the other day and I just have to mention it again on my Sunday List as I really love it. It’s the perfect elevated piece with something a little bit unexpected. And from a high Street store. Love it.

Blazer, £159

A slouch jean is the perfect addition to your wardrobe and these Citizen of Humanity ones are so good. They have a slight boot cut so look so good with everything from trainers to heels. All three of these colours are on my wish list.

Jeans from left. Dark blue, £249. Light blue, £249. Blue, £249.
