Just back from my hols and oh my goodness, the heat was unbearable. I love a summer holiday, but the temperature was in the high 30s and some days it felt like 41/42 degrees.
Too hot for me!
I knew it was forecast to be really hot, so I made sure I packed outfits that were made from natural fibres like linen and cotton as well as lots of easy breezy pieces that didn’t cling too much to the skin.
Around the pool or beach I alternated between a one-piece and a bikini and a sarong with sunnies. To be honest, it was too hot for any other clothes!
The sarongs I took with me were so useful and easy to just throw over a bikini to get drinks by the pool or to sit at a beach bar. The black one is unfortunately sold out, but the brown printed one I’ve linked below.
