Todays Sunday list is actually a Friday list because it’s Black Friday but instead of pushing all the sales onto you without some kind of formula, I thought I’d do it with a capsule wardrobe in mind so that you can think about investing in forever pieces that you’ll have in your wardrobe season after season.

This way, instead of blindly buying things just because of the great discount, you can ensure the things you buy are considered and worthwhile.

I always say that before you go into the sales, make a list of what you need and try to stick to it. It’s so easy to buy something just for the discount. This year, I have invested in the Frankie Shop Gelso blazer which I have wanted for ages. I sold my other black blazer I had and I have put the money towards this one which is tencel blend and better quality. I got 30% off so I’m delighted.

I’ll also try to get my Christmas shopping done and I need a new laptop (what a bore) so I’ll try to see if there are any deals on a MacBook. But other than that I’ll be keeping my sales shopping to a minimum.
