Copenhagen Fashion Week AW25
Details of my outfits, shows and what I got up to in this gorgeous City.
I’m writing this in my hotel room having just gorged myself with delicious ravioli and potatoes. There’s something really special about having room service when you’re staying at a hotel. It feels really indulgent but super cosy. I’m in my pjs, TV on. It’s all warm and comfy. It’s just really nice, especially when it’s so cold outside here in Copenhagen.
It’s been a really busy but amazing week. I got to my hotel, Bella Grande, on Sunday and spent the afternoon unpacking and going through outfits and then I went to Vækst restaurant with my mates Izzy and Luena for a bite to eat and a catch up. Then back to the hotel for a good nights sleep.
A little about the hotel - I highly recommend it. It’s located in a historic building just near the City Hall Square and it is a timeless yet contemporary hotel. The hotel is situated in the old town of Copenhagen where nearly every attraction is easily accessible by foot and public transportation is right outside your doorstep. They also have bikes you can hire for the day if you want to cycle round the city.
The hotel has a gorgeous restaurant, Donna, serving up delicious Italian food in the most extravagant and colourful interior. The pizza and ravioli I had on two separate nights, were to die for!
Plus the beds are so soft and comfy. With good pillows!
Day One
Monday wasn’t too busy so I filmed some GRWM videos in the room while the light was good. I’m so glad I added my tripod in to my suitcase last minute, it really came in handy.
My first outfit was this incredible Valentino coat from Designer Exchange which is a preloved site full of amazing vintage pieces. This coat got a lot of love. (For transparency, I was working with Designer Exchange and borrowed some pieces for CPHFW).

Then I met up with a few friends for a cuppa before heading over to my first show, OperaSport and doing a bit of shooting on the way there.
The show was called ‘A Celebration of Art Deco Elegance and Regal Sophistication’, and the setting was perfect for it. The AW25 collection celebrates rich luxury colours with an elegant royal theme. Think deep blues, creams, monochrome and Burgundy, the colour scheme is sophisticated and regal. The collection itself is wearable and modern.
I then popped over to the Stella Nova presentation which as predicted was full of colour and texture in the cutest shapes. So many great pieces with an element of fun but so wearable. My favourite pieces were the gorgeous knitwear and this incredible leopard print dress with huge bow detail on the shoulder.
I wore these amazing embellished trousers by Sinead Keary and a great technical jacket by Pangaia which I got in the sale reduced from £215 to £64 - I’m wearing size L (still available but only size XL left).
After Stella Nova, I headed over to the gorgeous Chinese restaurant, Goldfinch and had dinner with my beautiful friend Polly Sayer. The food there was exquisite. Lots of sharing plates that were so fresh and delicious. I’d recommend the fried Aubergine and Bao buns. Yum yum.
Day Two
First outfit of the day was one of my favourites from the week. I recently invested in a preloved Chanel suit from Loop Generation and it is one of my favourite buys ever. I dressed it down with trainers and socks and a stripy scarf. I love it.
Then it was off to a lunch with Aligne, hosted by Hollie Mercedes. A room full of amazing women (and Scott, Hollies partner!) The new Aligne collection is so gorgeous. I’m obsessed with this ruffle shirt I’m wearing below.
I then met up with my good friend Caroline Cook and we headed off to the Rolf Ekroth show. The Finnish designer explained that this collection was all about “The Nordic darkness, and how to survive it which served as the starting point this season.” This played out with lots of sportswear references in a dark colour palette like reds, greens and browns. Lots of texture and print like plaids and winter florals in recycled and deadstock fabrics with oversized silhouettes but still with a hint of sparkle and light with reflective materials and embellishment. A great show.

I wore a By Malene Birger dress, Puma trainers, Raey shearling jacket and Arket hat.
Caroline and I then met up with Shelley Jackson and the girls from Wild Swans Boutique and went to Delphine restaurant which I highly recommend if you’re visiting Copenhagen. The food was absolutely delicious.
Day Three
My first outfit of the day was my sequin Dries Van Noten coat which I love so much. It was such a great buy. I dressed it down with jeans and trainers and wore my Sezane bag with Chloe banana keyring charm and a tassel from a Balmain bag.
The first show of the day was Herskind which was probably my favourite of the week. It was full of luxe fabrics, tailoring, exaggerated detailing, gorgeous layering and rich colours. The shape of this fur jacket below is incredible. This show was definitely a bit of me!
After a quick coffee break it was off to Stine Goya for a showroom apt to see the collection. As usual, it was full of colours, gorgeous shapes and textures. I particularly liked the use of carabiners as details on belts, pockets and straps. Such a gorgeous detail that gave a cool element to the collection. Two of my favourite pieces below.
I then hot footed it across town to get to the Henrik Vibskov show which was highly anticipated due to his splendour and wonder when it comes to his vision. This show was called 'A bit overwhelmed by the opaque resonance' and it began with a theatrical set that looked like an opulent party. Henrik himself was revealed from under a sheet playing drums with his band and theatrical group Hess is More. The collection was a mix of an outdoorsy/ sporty vibe with tweeds, jacquards and knits and layering that gave the pieces a theatrical and deconstructed look. Lots of mixing of patterns and textures that referenced nature and the landscape in which we live in. Inspiring and clever.
After this I popped into the Pandora showroom to see their new collection. I loved the mother’s day pieces and the amazing rings and chunky bracelets . Sorry about my shaky filming here!
The last show of the day was Baum und Pferdgarten and it was a hot ticket. The show was called ‘Heartbeats’ and was all about what the designers hearts were feeling right now. The music playing was Robyn’s ‘With Every Heartbeat’ which was so fitting with the giant red hearts placed around the runway. Lots of leopard print, bows mixed with the less obvious tweed and corduroy mixing playful design with the countryside. There was also crocheted pieces and embellished denim.
My outfit for the show was my Awake Mode x John Lewis black trousers, my Pangaia jacket, preloved Balmain bag and white hat.

After a quick pop into the Mark Kenly Domino Tan cocktail party, it was back to my room for a pizza, salad and a much needed cup of tea. It was such a busy day and I was exhausted. If you do stay at Hotel Bella Grande, the pizza from Donna is chefs kiss!
Day Four
Up early for an appointment at By Malene Birger, one of my absolutely favourite brands, to see their upcoming AW25 collection. I wore my Dries coat again and added my By Malene Birger scarf which I have had for a few years. This scarf is a core product so they bring it out in different colours every season. Including this brown one. I added my little mini Chanel bag for an added bit of bling.
It’s always so good to see a collection up close when you can feel the fabric, see the shape and quality of the pieces. This collection spoke to me. There were so many pieces I loved. Lots of texture and gorgeous tones. I have my eye on a few pieces like this dress below.
It was Ukrainian brand, TG Botanical presentation, next which was held at the gorgeous Design Museum. The designer, Tetyana Chumak explained that the inspiration for the collection came from “Drawing from my personal journey during pregnancy, it celebrates renewal, inner beauty, and the strength we find in nature,” She took night time strolls along the beach in Spain and found inspiration from the night lit ocean. There was a lot of figure hugging pieces with texture that looked like seaweed on a rock. Smocking details and interesting shapes made from sustainable and deadstock fabrics in a colour palette of greens, browns, beiges and blues which gave the whole collection a feminine and natural feel.
I then met up with my friends Caroline and Shelley and we all went to the Munthe show. we were all dressed in Munthe and it was lovely to see how we all styled it in different ways.
Caroline, Shelley and I all dressed in Munthe
The show was another favourite of mine. So wearable and cool mixing luxe fabrics with street elements like long shorts, baseball caps and tees. The designer Naja Munthe took inspiration from the University campuses from the 70s with nostalgic college tees, vintage elements, stripes and cardigans as well as embellishment, fringing and fur. So many stand out pieces.
We then took a train out to see a new brand to me, A Piece of Favourite. Wow, it was so lovely. Full of colour and print which is quite unusual for me, but I fell in love and considering I’m determined to add more colour to my wardrobe this year, I really immersed myself in it. A lot of their pieces are fully reversible too and the attention to detail is incredible.
Back to the hotel next to get ready for the Rotate show. I was sent an amazing Rotate cardigan from Coggles and I felt so good in it. The shoulders are big with removable shoulder pads and the Rotate buttons give it a really special edge.

The show itself was so good. From the music, to the setting to the incredible collection. Jeanette Madsen and Thora Valdimars took it up a notch with sumptuous texture, big silhouettes, slinky dresses, oversized leather and leggings. All set around a DJ set with a baseline that went right through you. Exciting and wearable pieces from the Danish duo.
Then back to the room to edit some pics and write a bit more of this newsletter.
Day Five
I had a bit of time in the morning before check out so I got some pics of these gorgeous pieces from The Tartan Blanket Co. I’m so in love with this stripy red scarf and green knitted hood. It was so needed in the chilly Copenhagen weather but still made me look stylish and put together.
I popped into the Ganni breakfast that was celebrating the new talent at CPHFW this season. It was busy but it was great to see some of the new designers collections and eat a few pastries! Well, when in Copenhagen!
Next up was an appointment at Lié Studio to view the new collection. One of my favourite jewellery brands they are offering more leather goods and I fell hard for this green suede belt as well as their gorgeous bangles, rings and necklaces.

I needed to get back to the hotel to check out, but the new Toteme store that opened in November was just next door so I ‘had’ to go in and have a look. I said to the sales assistant that I was only browsing and to not let me buy anything. But she was too good at her job and an hour later I left with three items that I couldn't leave behind! Whoops! On the plus side, Toteme is cheaper in Denmark and I could also make use of the Tax refund, so it was silly not to!!!!
I bought this set, which is a cotton PJ set that has a flannel feel but is really light and comfy. It also comes in black.
I also bought this new season parachute skirt. It also comes in white and a bright blue but you know me, I went for the black! The shape is beautiful. I can’t wait to wear it.
And then it was back to the hotel to check out. It was a busy week but so good. I had a lot of laughs, lots of lovely food and saw lots of gorgeous street style, clothing and accessories. It’s inspired me for the season ahead.
Until next time Copenhagen.
That parachute skirt is gorgeous on you!
Going to Copendhagen in April and love your recommendations. I love your way with words. Thank you from Strasbourg, France
