Copenhagen fashion week is swiftly becoming one of the big fashion players. Now known as the fifth fashion week after, New York, Milan, Paris and London, CPHFW is the place to see some of the most exciting emerging talent and established designers from Northern Europe. Sustainability is at the roots of Copenhagen Fashion Week, with considerable efforts being made to encourage brands to up their game when it comes to sustainability.
Unfortunately I couldn’t make this season, but I was watching from afar revelling in all the glorious outfits both on the catwalk and on the street.
The standout SS25 collections for me were The Garment, Remain, Forza, Herskind, Rotate, Lovechild 1979, Skall Studio and Mark Kenly Dominic Tan. These collections were full of interesting shapes and layering, lace, sheer fabrics, neutrals, draping and fluidity. Really sexy, grown up and sophisticated with an element of fun thrown in.
