Catherine O' Hara - a style legend
I look back at the star of Beetlejuice and all time fave mum from Schitts Creek's most iconic fashion moments.
From Home Alone to Beetlejuice and Schitts Creek, Catherine O’Hara is an absolute legend on screen and off. Her style has always been super chic and her character as Moira in Schitts Creek with her quirky and extreme fashion choices, made Catherine the perfect person to play her.
(If you haven’t seen Schitts Creek, you must, it’s just incredible)
Catherine is working on the next season of The Last of Us with Pedro Pascal (lucky her) and I can’t wait for that to come back on our screens. Catherines look could be described as sculptural, graphic modern and bold. She definitely knows her style and steers clear of more romantic floaty looks in favour of more structured and dynamic silhouettes. Preferring a monochrome palette, Catherine has honed her style, as she’s aged, to perfection. No wonder so many people are inspired by her look which along with her amazing acting roles has kept her in the limelight and her career still flourishing - which for many women in this industry unfortunately struggle to do. One of my absolute faves and now at 70 years old, let’s look back at some of her outfits.
