Ask Anna
We have three great questions from subscribers this month who all want help finding their perfect item.
So let’s delve in with the first one from Rhian…
Hi Anna, I’m hoping that the weather is here to stay so I’m looking to invest in some Summer flat sandals that I can wear with dresses as well as trousers and jeans. Budget is £300 or under and I don’t want anything too dainty and would prefer ankle support rather than slip on slides.
Thank you, Rhian
There are some amazing sandals out there Rhian. You didn’t specify which colour so I’ve given a range of black, brown and neutral rather than colourful sandals. I know what you mean about slides, sometimes they fly off your feet don’t they, and nobody wants that in the middle of a busy city street.
Me+Em Brown leather sandals, £295

A. Emery black leather, white leather grey suede sandals, £160-£180
Alohas brown leather, £152
Toast sandals, £175
Arket sandals, £159
Flattered fisherman sandals, £137.40
Dr Martens, £134
Birkenstock, £130

My next question is from Carol who asks..
Hello, Carol here. I have been reading your book and am loving it so far. I am currently reading about basics and this is something I really need to focus on. So can you give me some really good t-shirt and vest options from The High Street.
Thank you so much Carol, I’m so happy you’re enjoying the book so far. That’s music to my ears. Having good basics is definitely a great place to start when building your forever wardrobe. A few really good t-shirts and vests help to bind lots of items together especially if they’re in block colours so help with mixing and matching prints.
